Valentine's Day Night

50's Night at the Ward activity. My in-laws are too cute!

Isn't she so cute? Had to take a picture of Mickey!

The boys and their dates for the night.

Our Rockin' 50's family!

At the Snow on Valentine's Day!

Yeah the snow! They were so excited to go and the snow was awesome! We couldn't have had a more perfect and fun day.

Calista loved the snow. She loved watching everyone play in it. She was the warmest of us all.

Family picture

We would walk from place to place dragging the kids behind us. They loved it!

Calista was so happy. She was so cute and so quiet as she just observed everything going on.

Close up of her happy face!

I would sled farther than everyone else. I made new paths for people to sled on. Don't know why but I would slide, slide far, and slide super fast when no one else could.
Just got that snow mojo I guess.

Janell looks like she is going to get me with a huge snow ball but it was just part of the snow man she built with the kids. That would have been one sweet snowball though.

Ian abandoned his gloves towards the end and we had to go because his fingers were on the verge of frostbite, even though he didn't want to leave and proved that with a mini tantrum.

Here are the boys rolling snow to make the snow man. Perfect snow!

He is almost done!

Here is our Frosty the Snowman. He is not so perfectly round or fat but he is still loved!

Here I am sledding with the boys! The snow was flying!

Eric piled the snow on the car roof. It melted off before we got home of course, but he loved piling it up and watching it turn to slush on our windshield.

When we got in the car, I went to change Calista on the front seat but she was just full of giggles and talking. She had so much fun in the snow that she was in such a good mood the rest of the day. Here is a video clip of her laughing at nothing and babbling on.

random pictures

She thinks she can walk. She is doing a good job with assistance like this though.

Looks like they are all up to no good and loving every minute of it!

Matthew wanted to change Calista's diaper. Look how happy he is... before the change!

He couldn't stop laughing while he covered his nose!

It was too funny. He did a good job though!

Looks like an angry dog but she is just a puppy playing with one of those Slurpee lids. It pushed up her lips and pushed her nose back a little. She was actually starting to suffocate herself but she still wouldn't let go! We had to pry it from her mouth. Funny picture though.
(***Disclaimer: No animal was harmed in the making of this picture***)

Matthew was sick and had to take medicine. I announced it was time to take it and he "disappered." Wonder where he went.

Calista happily playing with the boy's toys.

We made a fancy dog house for our puppy. It is well insulated and has vents, a real roof, and now it is all painted with a welcome mat in front! Eric and/or the kids now have a nice place to stay if they ever do anything bad.

Family fun day!

Matthew had fun hanging and then dropping on the mat. I missed the picture of Eric riding a little sit down swivel scooter with Calista in the front. We had a race on them and Eric won. I am not very good at making the swivel scooter swivel to go.

We went to an indoor play area in Arcadia called Kids Island. You can play all day, leave, come back sort of thing. The boys had sooooo much fun, and so did Eric and I.

Big play gym right in the middle.

A moving Thomas train. Ian loved this.

There was an infant play area closed off. Calista liked to crawl around and play too.

Ian in a castle play house.

Dress up closet. This is Matthew's concoction... a race car superhero!

Our Cutie Patootie

She finally has enough hair to put on a hair clip.

This hair clip was given to me by a friend who sells them and makes fabulous baby items. I always get asked about my beautiful burp clothes! The company is Joon Bug Baby. Cute stuff, amazing quality! Check it out!
Matthew got a pirate patch from a birthday party and put it on the baby.

Good times!

A Blizzard of Leaves

Here is Eric blowing some of the leaves with the baby. She loves being in the carrier.

I raked up about a 1/4 of the leaves and it made a pile like this. Next day was just as bad again.

They were dying to jump in it but were very patient. Then I gave them the OK.

Utter joy!

Cute Calista

Calista is almost 7 months now and is doing crazy stuff. She has 5 teeth and a couple more on their way in, but she is just starting to get the hang of eating solid foods (Matthew and Ian were eating solids at 4 months). She is pushing herself up to sitting, pulling herself to standing, and now she is crawling (check out the video). She thinks she can run around with her brothers and ends up falling down from standing position when she lets go of the table to follow them. Ugh! She is growing too fast. She is small for her age though. She weighs about 13 lbs now and is 25 1/2 inches long. She is petite needless to say.

We let her chew on a celery and she did this! She was so happy about it too!

For the past week, she can pull herself up to standing. Nothing is safe now!

I did it. Here I come food!

Hmm, a phone. How does this work again?

Yummy! My eyes are gorgeous.

Oh, mom, Buzz is on the phone is for you!

Cute outfit and I especially love the tights!
