He starts the morning class this year that starts at 7:40 am. His first day of school!

Do I have to go? It is early!

Labor Day Weekend at Shaver Lake!

Our first night camping! Let's start it off with a campfire!

We went down to the lake at night to see the stars and moon. The kids both freaked out the whole way until we got back to camp. I guess it was too dark and quite...perfect for bears and snakes as Matthew put it!

Ian is also terrified of the silent and dark night. I guess we are raising two city kids!

Ian kept throwing himself back on the padded life vest, then struggled like an upside turtle to get back up. Once up he would do it all again!

Ian can sleep through anything. He played the day and now it is nap time in the boat.

They are making dirt angels! They were so filthy by the end of each day.

Eric turned 30!!!!! He had a hard time with it!

We made the banner and put it up outside for all to see. Eric took it down as soon as he could!

The party was Matthew's idea. He wanted to do something for his daddy's birthday. We bought streamers, confetti, balloon screamers, birthday glasses, Eric's favorite take out, and a Marie Calendars Strawberry Pie! It was a surprise!

Too much fun at this party! Party in the house!!!!

Eric's family had a birthday dinner and cake for the Big Boy!

The old man needs a cane now that he is 30!

My dad's surprise 75th birthday party. He has never had a birthday party before... it is about time! And he deserves it! We love you!

A day up in the mountains by the lake with us, my dad, my sister, and my niece! Ian threw up in the car on the way up... big fun! Worth it though.
