June 2007

Water day outside! Lots of fun on a hot day!

Our first BBQ. Eric and I built it and then we had BBQ chicken for dinner!

Matthew's first graduation ceremony. He graduated from first year Preschool to second year Preschool! Here he is with his teacher and aides.

Day at the beach. Eric is king of building sand walls & castles! Matthew cried when we had to leave because he couldn't take his castle home!

Ian is getting into it too... His first castle!

Building up that fortress. Look at the concentration!

My dad is overseeing the whole operation! It's a boys world!

Took my dad to Disneyland for his 75th birthday! He is getting cozy with the fairy godmother!

Happy family at the Happiest Place on Earth!

Terk and the kids... Matthew is hiding under the table. He really didn't like Terk. Ian is not too sure either.

Spiderman at the Los Angeles Zoo!

Ian surprised Spiderman with a big hug! I don't think many babies want to hug him!

Opening weekend of Spider City at the zoo! Will we make it through without becoming dinner?

Oh no! Matthew don't eat Ian!

Having fun despite all the big hairy spiders!

April 2007: San Francisco Here We Come!

Eric was presenting his Thesis at a national Geography conference in San Francisco, so we decided to make it a mini family vacation. Eric went to the conference while the rest of us played in the city. On days he had breaks, we all enjoyed the adventures of the town...tourist style!

We actually walked down this steep hill with the stroller. It is harder than it looks.

We had to stop here!

Matthew is ready to jump out of his seat for the hot fudge sundae!

Just polishing off the last of the sundae!

Oh, that sundae was GOOD!

Next stop in tourist town...

We were recruited... ARG!

Matthew... just blend in!

If I kiss the gorilla, my prince charming Eric will appear!

China Town! Very touristy and on a steep hill with steep prices.

Eric is presenting at the conference

Meanwhile, the rest of us hopped on public transportation and went to the zoo!

Matthew only answered to "Hey, Spiderman!"

To celebrate the end of the conference presentations, the CSULA Geography Depatment treated us all out to dinner at a great restaurant with Karaoke in China Town. It was really fun!

The Karate Kids! Ha-yah!

Just us hanging out with R2-D2

The SF footlong hot dog... hungry anyone?

On our way to Alcatraz!

Only Matthew made it out

Think we can swim back to SF?

Great. The knives are stolen again. How many times have I said
that knives and prisoners just don't mix?!

It's lonely out in the prison yard today.

Sealions on Pier 39... Arh-Arh!

I didn't know cable cars needed gas!

Travel Town

Watch out, there is a train behind you!

You would think three guys could lift this! Wimps!

Look at that train!

Hello... I am your train conductor for today! Just sit back and relax.

I think there is something stuck on the train wheel... Maintenance!

Doesn't it look like this train is smiling too?

Weird faces? No comment.

Two handsome train conductors... I would ride on this train any day!

Easter 2007

Matthew is the pro now at dying the eggs

Ian's first egg dying

Hiding from the Easter bunny

Our artistic eggs!

Yeah the Easter bunny came!

Ball?!

Do I give them to daddy?

Oh I put it in the basket... now it makes sense!

The Easter Bunny can't trick me!

I found them all!

Matthew was in shock that he could get as many eggs as he wanted, "More than 3?!"

Sitting with the cousins after the very successful Easter egg hunt

Greek tradition is to roast a lamb for Easter... This is our impromptu lamb
