April 2007: San Francisco Here We Come!

Eric was presenting his Thesis at a national Geography conference in San Francisco, so we decided to make it a mini family vacation. Eric went to the conference while the rest of us played in the city. On days he had breaks, we all enjoyed the adventures of the town...tourist style!

We actually walked down this steep hill with the stroller. It is harder than it looks.

We had to stop here!

Matthew is ready to jump out of his seat for the hot fudge sundae!

Just polishing off the last of the sundae!

Oh, that sundae was GOOD!

Next stop in tourist town...

We were recruited... ARG!

Matthew... just blend in!

If I kiss the gorilla, my prince charming Eric will appear!

China Town! Very touristy and on a steep hill with steep prices.

Eric is presenting at the conference

Meanwhile, the rest of us hopped on public transportation and went to the zoo!

Matthew only answered to "Hey, Spiderman!"

To celebrate the end of the conference presentations, the CSULA Geography Depatment treated us all out to dinner at a great restaurant with Karaoke in China Town. It was really fun!

The Karate Kids! Ha-yah!

Just us hanging out with R2-D2

The SF footlong hot dog... hungry anyone?

On our way to Alcatraz!

Only Matthew made it out

Think we can swim back to SF?

Great. The knives are stolen again. How many times have I said
that knives and prisoners just don't mix?!

It's lonely out in the prison yard today.

Sealions on Pier 39... Arh-Arh!

I didn't know cable cars needed gas!

Anyone who hikes up that hill with a DOUBLE stroller gets extra special props.
