The Tournament of Roses parade and right in our backyard! It is a lot diffrent to be a few blocks away from the parade. The float viewing is actually right next to our church and the scouts make a killing every years selling parking spaces there. It was fun to observe Matthew while he was watching the parade this year, George Lucas was the Grand Marshall and there were a couple Star Wars themed floats, along with 200 marching storm troopers, and many of the Star Wars characters. Matthew loves Star Wars, of course, and thought it was great. When he saw Darth Maul however walking next to the float he looked at Melissa and said "Mommy Darth Maul is REAL!!!" It was priceless. We told him it was a man in a costume, but I'm not sure he believes us.
Matthew like this float because it reminded him of Rexy from "A Night at the Museum", except the big T-rex with the gutair has lost his head! Bwa-ha-ha!
The turtles on this float looked so real it was amazing. But defiantly not the only thing that looked amazing in this picture...wink wink.
As Napoleon would say..."It's pretty much the coolest float ever!" It is just missing that Liger.
We Love this stroller! It is a Combi twin duo sport and it fits in our little car. No more talk about getting a minivan to fit our family, we spit in the faces of the mini-van gods. That is until we have a third, and no that is not a hint.
Matthew was happy, Ian was sad, and the eagle was getting no respect.
