Our house

So I have not posted in about two months. Time just seems to fly by. One of the reasons we haven't been able to post is because we have been busy with buying our first home! It was crazy how it happened and way too fast for us. Now we are going to be moving in one week. We are so sad to be moving. We love Pasadena so much and we love the friendships we have made. But this was an opportunity we couldn't pass up. We will have three rooms now and a yard! The house is beautiful on the inside too and we don't have to do anything to it which is nice when I am about to pop with our third child. So here is to Pasadena and our friendships here and we hope you keep in contact!

Hot days!

It has been so hot lately. Eric decided he was going to stop and pick up a sprinkler wiggly worm thing for the kids. It was so much fun watching them run through it. They would even grab the worms antennae and get Eric and I wet.

Ian is getting a little cold I think! But he won't stop playing...isn't it great to be a kid!

They thought it was the funnest thing to try and kick the water sprays. They would kick and fall. It was entertaining to watch!

Matthew getting warm in the sun. He specifically asked us to get a towel for him to lay out on. That's my So Cal boy!!

Eric's experiment!

Eric was getting a pretty long beard and decided it was time to shave. Each time he does this, he will leave some of the hair behind as an experiment of what he would look like (e.i. goatee, major sideburns that look like wolverine, etc). They never make it past 5 minutes but they are fun to see. This time he tried a mustache and I couldn't stop laughing. It was the funniest thing ever. I grabbed the camera to document it for whenever I need a pick me up laugh!!! He'll probably kill me for posting it, but I thought I would spread some cheer to others!

Documenting young love

We have really good friends that have the cutest daughters. We joke around about them getting married in the future to our two boys. It would be Matthew and Taylor and then Ian and Adelyn. It is a win win situation since the kids are cute and would just be cute together and also because we already like the in laws! Let's see if our master plan works out! Bwahahahahaha!!!!

Ian attempting a kiss on his future bride!

Addy is showing Ian what a real kiss is all about!

Matthew and his future bride! We are documenting their love at this young age for the wedding slide show to come.

The drama of this relationship will be when Matthew goes on his mission, Ian will step in and sweep Taylor off her feet. But when Matthew gets back then he will win Taylor back! Ian will then fall deeply in love with Adelyn and they all live happily ever after... with tons of family game nights!!!!!

The beach in April

My mother had a time share on the beach by San Juan Capristrano for a week. Eric and I decided to crash for a day and enjoy the beach.

Ian has that mischief look to him... watch out he has fistfuls of sand!

Here is Matthew with his Uncle Christian!

Alexia's birthday party in April

Ian loves rocks! He must be in heaven right now with all these rocks around!

The party was jungle/ animal theme so my sister and I painted her horse to be the zebra. He was so patient as we painted him all over. It was awesome!

Our zorse! The finished product... we did it pretty fast too!

Matthew played pin the tail on the lion and he almost won. Notice most people didn't even get on the board!

My sister was last to play. Lookin' for the lion but Steve got in the way!

She won! Right on the tush!

Next was the water balloon toss. Matthew is dropping his right at the beginning and Ian isn't quite sure if he is going to give his up.

Next was musical chairs... do you think Ian is going to win?

Here is my oldest brother climbing the tree to suspend the pinata. Monkey blood runs through our family.

Eric is the final player. Notice the upside down zebra? It wasn't made to withstand the blows I guess.

The critical hit! Love the candy spewing out. So violent!

Ian loved the zorse (zebra/horse) ride! He was all smiles!

This is Alexia, my niece, and Steve, her dad and my brother in law, in a cute embrace. This is a rare occurrence so I had to snap a shot for evidence! See his smile? He likes her! =)

Eric took Ian out for a ride around the property. He was so happy and every time he came around he would wave to me in glee!

Matthew's turn to ride the bike. Eric even let him steer and he did a great job! He is getting to be so big now!
