Matthew Black Eye

He ran into Ian's hard forehead and swelled up over his eye like Quasimodo. The next day it was a black eye. This is actually good looking. It got much worse as the days wore on. He was so embarrassed and didn't want anyone to see his bump over his eye!

Easter!!!!

My friend Laura made this amazing cake for my family. It is an entire bunny cake! It even has a cute white tail in the back! The grass is coconut tinted green and the eggs are the malt eggs, chocolate eggs, and jelly beans! Everyone was marveling over her beautiful work! Thanks Laura! You made us feel super special!

Easter breakfast fro the boys

The monsters about to go egg hunting.

My handsome hubby! Oh la la baby!

Randomness

We got a slide from the garage sale and it has been a huge hit with the boys. I am glad since I am always trying to get them outside in the back to play!

Easter Egg Dying

Your eggs Madam!

AHHHHHHHHH! Egg Dying!!!!

Our interesting eggs. Ian kept breaking his (yellow and brown eggs above) and trying to eat them. He wanted so bad to eat them right then. Easter morning he woke up and the first thing he said was "Can I eat the eggs now?" There was no "Easter Bunny left a basket" or "let's go find the eggs outside," just the desire to eat the eggs!

Church Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday

They had bunny bags for the kids to make. Matthew the artist is thinking really hard on how his bunny should be.

Ian drew his own face. Matthew enjoyed watching him.

This was Ian's bunny face! So cute!

They all sang little bunny foo foo before they hunted for the eggs.

Calista looks like she is going to cry. Maybe she thinks she was gypped for not having anything in her egg while the boys had yummy candy.

She finally got some wrappers and was trying to suck the candy flavors off each one. She had a wrapper in each hand and in her mouth. It took a lot to pry them from her fingers.

Locks Of Love Donation

The before picture...

The after picture! She cut off more than 12 inches. My friend organized a ponytail drive around my house. Since I had the hair, I donated and got a cute cut in the process. This was my second donation to Locks of Love, with more on the way.

For the Grandparents Mostly

Calista is standing on her own now. She will stand up from sitting all on her own and she has successfully taken her first step! (She fell after she took her second step.) These are similar videos of her standing, mostly for her grandparents to enjoy because they soak up this sort of stuff! If you are not her grandparents, you are still allowed to enjoy these videos!
