Our Carnival Cruise

Just chillin' before the boat sets sail for Mexico!

This is our view from our dinner table. Not the people... the water. It was beautiful. This is Eric with his sister Mari and brother in law Jeremy.

Eric with brother Phillip and sister in law Roseanne.

Eric with sister Anni and brother in law Hazen.

The kids went to Camp Carnival every day. It is a free service they provide and the kids LOVED it!!! They begged us to take them and cried when we took them out to spend time with us. They would play games, do crafts, have parties, and of course face painting everyday! It was amazing! And Eric and I got alone time... amazing. And did I mention it was free?!!

Here she is with her princess makeup from Camp Carnival.

Here she is with her Camp carnival face paint. She actually cried really hard the last day we picked her up from Camp carnival. I think she knew she wasn't coming back and she held on to the counselors and cried. It was so cute and it made me happy that she was well taken care of.

On the ship!

The water was so warm and wonderful!

He loved slipping and sliding all over.

The beginning of a scavenger hunt that we won second place on. We should have won but I think the number one people cheated to get the trophy. We got medals. I'm a sore loser deep inside.

Middle of the scavenger hunt. It was funny when a bunch of us boarded the elevator after the scavenger with happy faces on our heads. Someone entered the elevator and asked if he should put one on his head too. It was funny.

Me going down the slide. Yeah!

Started off an excursion early in the morning. The kids were too tired to stay awake.

So tired in the morning.

This bird flew to our boat and welcomed us to Las Caletas in Puerto Vallarta. This is an excursion with "Vallarta Adventures". They are wonderful and I highly recommend it!

The boys feeding some ducks!

Calista loved feeding the duck that she would walk up to it and try to feed it sand.

They took the kids on an adventure zipline course as part of the day for free.

They absolutely loved it!

Getting ready to have an exciting adventure! The last zipline is filmed on the bottom of this post... check it out!

Matthew climbing up a cargo net.

Ian just met his long lost twin brother!

Monkey business!

A bird on my arm!

Now it is on Matthew's arm! It really travels around.

A pretty hummingbird at Las Caletas!

The boys are knocked out on the way back to the cruise ship. They played in the ocean, did a zipline adventure, and ate a big yummy lunch! I'd be tired too!

Our ship up ahead! Yeah!

Our ship as we approach it. It really was such a nice ship!

This is Matthew's towel elephant that he made. He learned how to do this at Camp Carnival.

This is at Puerto Vallarta.

The old church. It was beautiful. We got there right at 7 o'clock mass and they were ringing the bell at the top by pulling a string at the bottom. It was a fun experience.

There was a pirate party at Camp Carnival. They complained when we took them out. Matthew has his guns ready to shoot. Ian didn't want a face paint so they gave him a pirate mask.

Cabo San Lucas. We are on the ship enjoying ice cream as we pass by the southern most tip of Baja California.

All the Bladh clan squeezed in to the glass elevator. Big fun!

Formal night on the ship.

We just watched a show and we are all being goofy. It was fun to spend one on one time with each of our kids. The other kids stayed in Camp Carnival while we did this and each kids felt our undivided attention. I need to do this more often. It was great!

Formal night cutie.

The curls come naturally along with the cuteness!
